Material Cleveland is an exhibition that celebrates materials innate to Cleveland and many of the entrepreneurs that started various collective spaces in Cleveland happen to be in this exhibition. Come and join us at this industry night mixer with the people who make these places work, and those that find these places home.

Members and representatives from Praxis Fiber Art Studio, Zygote Press (Printmaking), The Cleveland Print Room (Photography), The Morgan Conservatory of Papermaking and Book Arts, Brick Ceramic + Design Studio, Soulcraft CLE (a wood shop collective), Upcycle Parts Shop (Recycled material art).

We host this event with the Artist Archives of the Western Reserve, an organization and archive dedicated to the lives of artists from this region with an exhibition concurrent at Tri-C’s Gallery East, Cuyahoga Community College, Eastern Campus, Education Center (EEC) 135, 4250 Richmond Road, Highland Hills
on September 12 – October 17, 2019

Made in Cleveland is a satellite exhibition at Tri-C Gallery East, that celebrates Cleveland’s unique non-profits and the artists that founded them. Cleveland Print Room, Praxis Fiber Workshop, The Morgan Art of Papermaking Conservatory, and Zygote Press proudly serve area artists, providing studio space, access to equipment, educational opportunities and galleries. The Artists Archives preserves and displays the rich cultural heritage created by these institutions and other Ohio artists. Made in Cleveland will feature work by Tom Balbo, Bellamy Printz, David E. Davis, Liz Maugans, Kelly Novak, Jessica Pinsky, Joe Sroka and Shari Wilkins.

We invite the members of these collective spaces to come and introduce new audiences to these spaces and network among the membership of each collaborative.
